Panimo OlutMylly Forssa, Finland
Welcome
to Mylläri
Est. 2018 · Family Brewery · Olut yhdistää. Beer connects.

A family brewery with deep roots
Panimo OlutMylly was founded in 2018 by Anne and Mikko Silmälä in Forssa, southern Finland. What started as a shared passion for honest craft beer has grown into a thriving family business — with Mikko brewing and Anne running sales, marketing, and events.
We keep Mylläri intentionally small. We know our farmers, our bakers, and our customers by name. Our slogan says it all: Olut yhdistää – Beer connects.
The brewery is located at Yrittäjänkaari 17 in Forssa, approximately 100 km north of Helsinki. We welcome solo travellers, couples, families, and groups — with or without a reservation.

Pilsners and lagers – brewed the Finnish way
We are primarily a pilsner and lager brewery. Clean, honest beers brewed with Finnish malts — that is our core. Alongside our lager range we also brew seasonal and specialty beers using local ingredients: organic honey from a nearby farm, local grain, and flavours rooted in the Häme region.
All beers are available in 440 ml cans from the Brewery Shop and selected retailers.

Responsible brewing in Häme
We believe a small brewery can make a big difference — in the way it brews, sources, and gives back to its community.
Water: We use only 2.4 litres of water per litre of beer — below the Finnish industry average — thanks to a self-built water recirculation system.
Solar energy: Our rooftop solar panels produce approximately 11,000–12,500 kWh per year, directly powering brewery operations.
Local sourcing: Finnish malts wherever possible. Organic honey from Mattilan Luomutila in Koijärvi. Sausages made with our beer by Metsärannan Liha. Malt bread baked from spent grain by Antin Konditoria in Forssa.
Circular economy: Spent grain becomes bread. Freekeg reusable kegs reduce packaging waste. Nothing goes to waste if we can help it.
Community: We are active in the local business community, support regional culture through Kulttuurikehräämö ry, and work with HAMK University of Applied Sciences on sustainability and product development projects.
